I was looking around craftgawker earlier and found some super cute earring and necklace holders. Unfortunately I neither had peg board or a photo frame I could use. So I improvised.
In this tutorial I’m going to tell you how to make an earring and necklace holder.
Unfortunately I forgot to take photos during the process but I do have the end result.
For the earring holder you will need the following:
Wire coat hanger (preferable the kind with the cardboard but if you have just a regular one that will do)
Wire (you can get it at any craft store)
Needle-nose pliers
A dremel tool (optional)
Wire cutters
Ok so first you want to take the card board off of the hanger and bend it like how I did here.
I’m starting to dabble a little in jewelry.
Nothing major and sewing will still be my favorite. However what’s nicer than having awesome jewelry? Only having awesome shoes to go with it 😛 I’m not about to make my own shoes though.
So I got a little kit that shows you how to make different earrings. Figured it would give me a good idea so I could see if I liked it. It was about $5 at Wally world.
Here is what I have made from it so far and already I have ideas as to what I would love to make.
This is my newest creation.
Wire for stems
Rolled/twisted paper roses
Cut out leaves
Connect all that with some super glue and you get yourself a beautiful vase of flowers in no time 🙂
Best of all, they don’t die or need watered.
